We Need Your Help!

The Sons and Daughters of Douglass High School Alumni Association have awarded more than 25 college scholarships to youth over the past 20 years. Our 2011 goal is to award six scholarships. In order to accomplish this charitable deed, the Sons and Daughters of Douglass High School Alumni Association is required to use fundraising events to create money for these goals.

One of our main fundraisers is our bi-annual Golf Tournament. This year's event will be held Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Warriors Path State Park in Kingsport, and will consist of over 50 golfers. The event promises to be fun, challenging, exciting and truly enjoyable.

At this time, we are seeking sponsors and additional donations for prizes that will be awarded following the tournament.

Gift certificates, golf equipment, towels, tees, golf balls, or any golf-related items would be used for awards given to the participants. Golfers are also welcome to display a banner, or set up promotional material on our sponsor tables. Our Alumni Association is a 501(c)3 charitable association; therefore, all donations are tax-deductible.

We would appreciate any and all help that you may be able to give to help us reach our 2011 goal. Your donation will provide a great opportunity to give a scholarship to our future professionals of tomorrow.
